Nice video, but i disagree on the technology issue, i think the whole point was that racist mentality and attributing the actions of some individuals to the whole species is what led Koba to rally the apes, and the tech thing was an excuse to make the third act cooler. It wasn't the technology that corrupted the apes, it was their mentality towards humans.

Without having seen the movie, I'd say it's also worth noting that the writing on the wall might be a nod in the direction of Orwell's Animal Farm, and the 7 commandments the animals create there, 1: two legs = enemy, 2: 4 legs / wings = friend, 6: No animal shall kill any other animal 7: all animals are equal Commandments that are also, in the end, corrupted (by power) and turns into the famous "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
